Sending lots of recovery vibes his way x

Awww, thank you! He got dropped off at the vets at 8:30 this morning, so just waiting on the call to go and collect him.

I think the girls know that something is up, there's nobody calling back to them from across the room when they wheek. Only a few weeks till they can meet Hermes properly though!

We got back from the vets about 3:30 this afternoon. He seems alert enough, maybe a bit moody, been sulking ever since we got back, so don't know whether he's not eating or just moping. I put some of his favourite lettuce and runner beans in, he nibbled at them, but they're still in his bowl.

I had cleaned his cage out while he was gone, put fleece etc down instead of wood shavings so it would be easier on his wound, but kept things like his litter tray etc in so it still smelt like him. He's just lying in his litter/hay tray, think he's had a nibble at the hay, but that's about it.

Naturally I'm quite worried, but I guess I'll see how he is at veggie time (we normally give the main lot of veg at night so we can eat our tea in peace!).

Glad he's home ok. I remember when Hector had the snip, I was so worried about him. Poor little thing looked so uncomfortable he kept changing positions but just couldn't get comfy. He was fine the next morning, back to charging round so don't worry he's probably just feeling a bit groggy and sorry for himself.
