OK this shouldn't really be news but I got my girls in January and thought yea they get through a fair amount of hay and pellets in a week and after a few weeks they were starting to wheek for their morning and evening veggies...

anyway I said before there was a lot of itching and after bumble loosing a little weight and noticing some flaky skin on bea we went for a trip to the vets. The vet was very thorough and checked skin samples etc, explained that she believed they had mites which might have flared up due to the stress of being rehomed and gave them both an injection...

Now I have noticed a massive increase in the amount of dry food and hay that they are eating! living up to their names of being piggys! I can't believe how much these little girls can tuck away... looks like there'll be more shopping to do now hehe on the plus side I'm glad as this looks like they must be feeling much better.

They have also learnt the sound of bags rustling and the fridge opening and closing (from the living room I might add!) and wheek like theres no tomorrow now whether its feeding time or not :(|)

:))

Just wait until they get used to the sound of veg being cut on a chopping board whhhhhhheeeeeekkkkkk :)) Mine hear it even if the kitchen door is shut too

Mine even got used to the sound of grass being ripped from the lawn in summer rolleyes

... And didn't they let me know?! :))
