Poor Christian.
My vet gave Phoebe a higher dose of Loxicom after her spay as she said they find the higher dose is more effective. It certainly worked for her - recovery was much less stressful than Jemimah’s.
Go for it if your vet is happy.
Keeping Christian pain free is much better for his happiness and quality of life

. I am going to keep him on this dose until I come back from holiday as I can't monitor his weight and I have already written the "Idiot's Guide" for my piggy sitters. Then if it's the same when I get back I'll slowly decrease it by 0.5ml every 2 weeks. I had a quick word with the vet when I was in with Velvet this morning for her final check up (bad eye, URI and bladder sludge - all cleared up now) and she (the vet) is happy with this course of action.
