Hello,

As the title of my post says, I'm feeling a little guilty about Xmas as we are going away for 5days. My boys are going to staying with the most wonderful friends who has 8 piggies herself. So they will be well looked after.

So as I'm not about for them, I want to get them a pressie each. Any ideas? What are you getting your pigs?

I'd never bought presents for my piggles before until last year and I don't really know what I was expecting but I think I thought there would be some enthusiasm :)) but they were mostly scared by the wrapping paper so this year I'm just going to get them some nice tasty hay.

Brussel sprouts! They are vile and only ever get bought once a year for Christmas dinner because its traditional so the piggies get some too!

I have bought the little guinea pig stockings in the past but they never seem to like anything in them so food it is

I've bought them a strawberry house each but as much as they'll like it I think it's probably just as much a present for me as they're quite happy with their snuggle sacks and cosy cups!

I plan on getting mine some things from piggiepigpigs (anyone heard of her?), and some little hay treats and such from the petshop :)

Around Christmas you can get the " Brussel sprouts " still on the stocks our boys go mad for them...:))

I can barely afford human christmas presents this year LOL

As I have alot of animals I cant afford to get them all something snuggly and cosy :( So I'm going to look at all the cages and see what they are missing. Like a wooden bridge tunnel thing.. A new pigloo.. Toys to keep them entertained! No pig will get the same present but it's going to be something that I know they use in their cage :)

Mine always get a special Christmas dinner of all their favourite veg. Brussels sprouts are a firm favourite as is kale and cauliflower but I don't tend to feed them much calcium veggies so Christmas is the one day I allow them to go wild with it.

I'll also buy them some nice hay to eat and my parents buy little bits for them too like things they can chew etc :)

I also have a cat, gerbil, hamster and degu so I can't really afford to splash out too much. The little rodents will be getting plenty of treats to eat and the cat a new collar. Again, my parents will also be buying them a little something :)
