Christmas-ing up the cage

Does anyone like to make their cages all festive?

Walking around Primark today trying to find fleece, thought there wasn't any but just as I was leaving the home department I saw some Christmas fleece :D can't wait to use it

And in tesco I bought some mini red bauballs for 70p. Might get some more, they are really nice :)

Have you guys done anything?
 
I've made my boys a little christmas stocking each so they'll be hung up soon and I'm sure SantaPig will bring them some goodies on Christmas Day.
I would love to put some tinsel and decs in but I'm a bit scared of them eating it :P

I know in P@H they do chewable christmas decs so maybe I'll have a look more into them :)
 
We're not doing a full decor this year as we're moving house in the New Year but in 2011, we did a Christmas Grotto theme for the piggles.
White vet bed, red and green vet bed pieces to go over their tunnels and some icicle fairy lights. For the roof of the pen, I found some large pieces of white sponge and hung some snow effect bunting that shimmered in the lights.
I bought some little red stockings and hung on the front of the pens stuffed with goodies - it looked lovely. It's all packed away in storage atm so may just do the front of the pens festive with bunting and lights...saying that, will probably go overkill again once I start rolleyes

Oh i'm so pleased you found some fleece! You've all seen mine! Plus I have some stockings on their way to hang on the cage with their names on them!
 
I've been working on some crocheted bunting to hang around the bottom of the girls cage which is almost finished.
It's red and green and there is a little jingly bell on the bottom of each flag :)
 
Mine get christmas cosies and presents on xmas day :)) love spoiling piggies x)

Yeah I was in there with my friends yesterday and thought to have a look while I was there :) Thought there wasn't any but it was hiding in the corner!

I might get some little stockings too. They wont be getting a mountain of pressies but I will get them some yummy bits to put in them :3
 
I have bought my piggles a little xmas tree from a garden centre - its going to go on top of their cage tomorrow! I may stick some bits to the outside of the cage actually... really its Billys first xmas cos last year he would only have been 3 weeks old - he still believes in piggiesanta :)
 
Ours will be having decorations around the outside of their cages, is mainly fleecy type thihngs but we have an advent calendar that is little stockings and we are going to put an animals' name in each stocking and the pig or hamster on each day will get a treat.
