OK so I've just added my 2 new piggies to the Christmas list. Just wondered what you all are getting yours?
And do they do trees for the cages

I'm gonna put led tinsel round my boys cage.I'm not sure what to get them yet.Theyve got some great things on thehayexperts.co.uk so there's plenty for me to choose from x

I am planning to sew a couple more cuddle cups for them.
I am off to a fabric market in a couple of weeks, so will be on the look out for some festive or Winter themed fleece.

I will probably also sew a new bunting strip to hang around the cage.

As far as buying presents for them I imagine Eddi will get some new willow toys to destroy, and the girls will get some grainless chew sticks for their stockings.

I have no idea what to buy mine, I need to have a good think. They are in the 'animal room' so a small Christmas tree is put up and some other Christmas ornaments dotted around. The theme of the room is British wildlife so the Christmas decorations all have this theme.

A few extra fruits and veggies inside toilet roll tubes with the ends folded in so they have to gnaw at the "parcel" to get the goodies.

No cage decorations this time.

Mine will probably just get a giant bag of hay (with a bow on, ofcourse!) since it is their favourite thing ever. I will probably get the expensive oxbow stuff as a treat for them. I want to attempt a vegetable christmas tree made from lettuce and other veg on christmas morning. Not sure how it will work but it's worth a try.

That sounds great, how would you go about making that?

I will be making some new beds / houses and snuggle sacks! Last year they had a lovely house from laurapiggiepigs which had been a godsend... they will get new cardboard boxes... like kids they like the simple things in life!

Cardboard boxes, paper bags - they can be cheap dates!

I've ripped up some toilet roll and sprinkled it on the top of Custard's pigloo. I'm not sure in toys/treats to buy him so if you have suggestions feel free to let me know!

Pets At Home have a nice Christmas range of themed chews/cosies etc (I've got the red and white polka dot sofa but they've got it now), but also check out good old Poundland (if you're in the UK) as they've got strings of battery-operated LED lights and cute tinsel and just adorable bits :)

I'll have to have a look and lucky for me pets at home and Poundland are right next to each other so that's tomorrow's job!

Mine are getting an early Christmas present of electricity in the shed and a radiator to keep them warm! Then a bit nearer to Christmas, a lovely trip to the vets for Chewie's 8 week checkup!
