As Christopher has been behaving like a silly sausage he has been banished to a cage all by himself

Its a shop bought cage 100cm x 50cm with a 35cm x 45cm hay loft made out of a couple of grids donated by Lisa :(|)

Do you think there would be space for a friend? It might be a bit of a squeeze....

I would say you could put a friend in there as long as they had floor time, nearly all piggys needa friend ;) I like your 'loft' I'm thinking of ways I can make one of these myself.

It is neat but well worth investing in another piggy as he will love the company. I have had two piggies in a cage that size and as long as they are getting floor time they will be fine.

If you have the space you could add another cage? By attaching it to the other. I know some people on here have done it and they have used chube tubes to connect them.

I know that most rescues recommend a 120cm long cage for 2 piggys but it would be worth getting him a friend and then maybe attaching another cage or add space so the cage door stayed open and they had space on the floor to come out when they wanted. If you get what i mean. :)

He looks happy in his cage. :))

Awww lovely photos and lovely piggie too, I'd say that cage was fine as long as they have lots of floor time just like Romily says too :))

I am fostering a single boar in a cage that size and am not sure that I would want to have 2 sharing.

:)
