Chunka-munka and (fingers crossed) her new friend

Reached out to my local cavy sanctuary in hopes of finding a companion for my senior pig after her sister passed. Chunka matched with this old lady (the abbey) and she's been with us for about a week now. Really hoping this little girl can grow to love us, and for her and Chunka to build a strong bond. No name for her yet - inspiration hasn't struck.

Hey guys - a quick update for you: I've named our new girl "Little Bisous" in honour of the shelter owner (who is called "Lil") and for all the kisses my rex pig gives her! And more wonderful news, their bond is strong and the two of them are as thick as thieves!
