Well I named my peru Cinder, because of his colourings, the name just came to me and he suits it.
Anyway he, and his as of yet unnamed friend abyruvian both need something doing as they are matted/dirty underneath.

As they are both young, and I do not have any minipig shampoo I cannot bath them
What is the easiest and friendlyest way to clean them underneath. I know I need to trim round their boy bits but what else is needed.

For now I'd just give a shallow bath with water and see if you can work some of those knots free.

I use Posh n Go from Gorgeous Guineas for the long haired pigs. :)

I have used Posh 'n' Go on my (possible) Peruvian. I picked her up from our local rescue on Friday and bathed her on Saturday. I thought you might like to see before and after photos. It worked really well and no tangles. Did have to do the old rinse and repeat though. I highly recomend it.

I find Simple Baby wipes are quite good for a quick clean for dirty long haired piggies but sometimes only a bath will suffice!
