Just thought I'd share a few of my latest creations. I'm quite pleased with these piggies, it was my first ever time creating Lankunya (I hope I've spelt that right) and long haired piggies last week and teddy type breeds with rosettes this week. To say that they were a challenge to make would be an understatement lol, I think I ended up with more clay in the bin than I did in the oven but I'm glad that I attempted them as its all good experience.

Does anyone else do clay work or modelling? If so I'd love to see your creations. I like sharing ideas and swapping tips for handling the clay :D

they look like guinea pigs, well done !
did you have to bake the clay after making them ?, because some clay you have to .

Yes, it's Fimo clay, you bake it to harden it once you've sculpted it :D

You are very skilled buddy, if I had attempted that it would have looked like a turd :))

I'm trying to improve my skills so that I can be a good 'all-rounder' lol :))

Ive just had a very, very random idea, how cool would it be if one year we had a forum Generation Game, you know like that old programme on telly where they made things each week and it was like a bit of friendly competition but all for fun. They did a different craft or baked something new every week and then got judged at the end of it. That would be so much fun. :))

I do salt dough, so it's similar in some ways. I tried a couple of piggies when I first started but got frustrated and chucked them in the bin lol! Have you tried a garlic crusher for the long hair?

Aw they are really lovely :) I love Fimo, it's great to work with. I haven't made anything since the oven went wrong though...... it burns my Fimo!
Your second piggy looks just like my Friends Lunky, the father of my Abby-lunky cross (Cloud). I think it's Lunkarya? Just going to go and check :)
Gorgeous, you got that piggy-sweetness down to a tea xx

Edit: Yes it's Lunkarya List of guinea pig breeds - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

@sport_billy hahaha that's my kind of modelling :yikes:

they look great, i had a go at reindeers for a Christmas cake with marzipan& icing, they kinda came out ok'ish (the cake looked ok in the end), but not as good as your guineas:tu:
love the 3rd &4th pigture piggies.
loving all the piggy noses  xx

I've made tonnes of polymer clay animal! But one thing I could never do was a piggy. Yours look so cute! I found them pretty difficult and they never looked like a piggy :))
