Clean Boys + New Cage = Happy Mommy

Finally built Rory and Shotzy their new cage and got 'them on fleece....and they wreaked, again proving their masculinity to one another.

Glynis there may be some piggy lips - consider this your warning!

Thanks gals! Of course the University of Kentucky fleece was not included in the 50% off sale, so had to pay full price, but I love it!

Just checked on them and they were popcorning away......now to start alllllllllllllll over again with the girls building and some bonding (Molly with Pola & Nell).

Lovely clean boys The cage looks great! Just a question, do they use the hay in the corner as a 'toilet'? That would be cool if they were litter trained!

Yep, they do. All my pigs do, but where these boys have only been together for a week and a half they think they need to keep marking their territory so they use the litter pan and the rest of the cage. They're getting better and better about using the litter pan every day! The girls in the other room don't have any issues with it at all, really.

Got cut-to-size shelves at Lowes (Home Improvement Store) and for the 3X3 got 4 pieces (16" deep) cut to 27" and then zip tied them together with one grid in the middle to close up the hole. It's one unit, it lifts as one, the only way I could make it sturdy enough to hold my 10lb and 9lb cats. rolleyes :p

But they're not fat, mind you they're just big bodied.

No problem, it took some drawing out to do it but it works!
