me definitely! i love cleaning their cage out and seeing them all clean and comfortable :luv::luv::luv:

Within minutes it was poop heaven :P

Aww lovely. X

yeh, i stand back and admire my cleaning, and not long after it looks like i never did much! :)) but they seem proud of their mucky mucky house (they do popcorns when i say this!) so i'll just continue to clean up the mess like a good slave! :))

ches was such a gorgeous little piggy. i was certainly very lucky to have him :luv: x

Yes, I get disproportionately happy with a clean cage lol

Agreed it's never clean for long but my piggies are pretty good at using the litre box.

mine are too luckily. they have a large garden potting tray as their litter tray and do the majority of their toileting in there. i find the larger the tray, the more they do in there :tu:

I love it when their houses are all nice and clean...until you pop the pigs back in and seconds later there's about fifteen poops scattered around!

Mine get a full clean out twice a week, and although I don't like housework I enjoy cleaning out the cage and replacing all the fleece etc. I spot clean once a day, and I call it 'collecting the poop harvest'. Now I've written it that actually sounds dodgy, but you all know what I mean!

I would love mine to use a litter tray but they refuse to. When I've tried to use one they have pooped in it, but they've also pooped equally everywhere else in the cage as well!

My 2 tend to poop & pee most where they sleep so I get really freaked out about cleaning it everyday because I hate to think of them sleeping on their stinky poops!

Once I've done the weekly deep clean I get a lovely peace in the world, Cinderella singing with bluebirds feeling, knowing my babies are clean and comfy. Plus they popcorn like crazy when I put them in a clean cage :D

i think i am over cleaning mine ... i poo pick minimum of twice a day. I clean their hay tray out twice a day ( its a cat litter tray with cat litter and hay in it ). I just bin the whole lot cos i find it harder to try and pick the poop out and if they have wee'd i worry about the smell... is that normal to just bin it - what does everyone else do?

No don't worry binning the whole hay tray and litter tray once a day is fine. It tends to smell any longer than that!

thats what i was thinking... i just find it easier to bin it ! they love clean fresh hay too and head straight for it like they have never had any before !

Today (Sunday) is cage cleaning day in this house and I love a good fresh cage too! I like it because my 4 are really appreciative of a clean cage, they popcorn and zoomie like crazy! Makes all the effort worthwhile :P

you can never over-clean with piggies in my opinion! :))

i do the same with the tray, just bin the lot, quick wipe and replace with fresh fitch and hay. much easier and it usually needs it anyway! :)) mine have a large garden potting tray and do the majority of their toileting in there so it gets quite messy! mollie also likes to burrow in a hay nest in there aswell so i want it to be as clean as possible for her :luv:

:D I gave the pig-room a good vacuum today, changed the newspaper, zorb and fleece in the Trixie huts, sprayed hutch cleaner on the inside of the huts, vacuumed hay cube crumbs off the cage liners, and cleaned out litter trays. All because I was expecting a friend round - and she didn't show up! ( I do it all once a month anyway, so it was due.)
