Promise this is the last photo for a while of my lot :red

I think silver has been a little lonely so I tried out the panels that arrived this morning to make it a lot easier for me to spot clean while the partition is in and I cant get the gang out on the grass (as I am back to work tomorrow. So I thought its time he gets to see the girls.

and then caught them having another chat when I left to get the veggies so apologies for the quality

He was beside himself when he saw the girls and has been the most active and confident I have seen him since he came home tues. The girls (missed the photo opportunity) all stood there looking at him at the partition curious about the boy and it was like they never knew he had been there (apart from crystal who knew). So now all the girls have come up and had a sniff, they were all very calm and no rumblestrutting by anybody, does this look positive to the experts? I think it does look like a good omen.

I have put 2 panels together with a slight gap, I could still put the plastic between them but I want him to see them which he wasnt behind the plastic panels.

So two questions, will this be ok or should I put the plasitc back? And if he was done on the 17th april, 6 weeks is a date of 29th may - but is that the 6th week in which he is safe on the 5th june, or 29th may?

Its no problem as I can keep them like this till the 5th easily enough, but with the panels still having gaps is it risky to have them as a partition or leave them be as he shouldnt be able to get to the girls. I also want to keep him in there till the 5th so he gets used to me but I want him to interact with the girls as much as is safely possible.

The 6 weeks will be up on the 29th May so any time after this should be fine (I waited 7 weeks for Jackson cos I'm paranoid LOL). If you are certain he won't be able to get over the panels to get in with the girls there is no reason why you should replace the plastic panels - unless you use them to make the panels higher.

Suzy x

I am paranoid too :red, think I might just put them ontop to stop any night time escapades which I can remove to clean the pens either side.

If the date is the 29th then its only 5 days away, so will err on the side of caution and make them higher - I dont think he can climb them but you never know. Then as I am around more on the 2nd and 3rd than before then I will do the introductions that weekend, that would put him 6 weeks and 3 days.

Getting worried now, should I wait till the 5th and after @) which would be 7 weeks?

Aww, he's sooo gorgeous! Great to see him on a video! It's definitely a good sign that they are showing an interest in each other through the bars x)

Great Video, thanks for sharing!

patience, I am out and about till the weekend through work and other things so it will be sat and sunday before they get to be together.

I have taken the higher barrier down as if he manages to climb in, or them to him, it wont matter as its the 29th, but they are too lazy and he is not that brave (it seems). He has been spending a fair amount of time in his fabric tunnel looking at the girls, he still hides away from our home noises but he is starting to get used to me a bit more, I am sure once he becomes accepted into the group, the girls will give him the confidence to not need to hide from us.

All going well, I will introduce them saturday, leave them as a group in the pen (and run if still dry) till monday where I will be putting them outside in the hutch were they can have some daylight and natural sunshine, with fresh air (and I can then rearrange the spare room for the winter) and they will stay as their group from then on.
