Cleaning 5 weeks old Male Guinea Pig

Hello,
I’m new in taking care of guinea pig..
just adopted 5week old male.
I have been doing some research and came across online on cleaning anal sacs.

Is this required for young ones ?

You probably won’t need to clean his anal sac out as such but you will need to check him over to ensure it is clean in that area (he may pick up bits of bedding etc in there)
