Just wondering what the best thing is to use to clean piggies grease glands? I have read several different things swarfega, washing up liquid, but would like to know from peoples experience which is most effective. My boys are a bit mucky in that area! Also. How often should you bathe them, clean grease glands etc?

I have only used swarfega gel, but get good results with it every time. I clean my boys on an 'as and when' basis. They are generally very clean, so this is usually only every couple of weeks. It does vary by pig though.

I use normal shampoo but they never get too dirty as I clean as soon as I see they are getting dirty saves a bigger job later on. They vary from pig to pig some are messier then others :)

I use oil, as oil shifts oil. :) If you rub in some oil (coconut oil, baby oil etc), the gunk comes off in bits.
