Hi,

I wasnt aware that i had to do the above, I was browsing guinea pig info last night and read a little on this, Is this essential and does anyone have any tips on how to do this, and what tools (if any) i need?

Many thanks :)

It depends which bit of him you are cleaning!

Here's a thread on bathing although piggies don't need bathed often. http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/...inea-pigs-including-ears-grease-glands.47314/
Some piggies are easy to bath, others like my Hamish and Angus detest it so it can be a hard job. I always prefer to have someone else on hand as a squiggly, soapy piggy is a nightmare on your own!

Here's some 'boy bit specific advice though:

http://www.thepotteriesguineapigrescue.co.uk/page_2859286.html

Hope that helps! If you have more specific questions just ask! The main thing is just checking their bits regularly as boys are renowned for getting hay etc stuck where they shouldn't!

Thank you for your reply , I have bathed peanut he's easy going with the bath luckily ..... its the boy cleaning I've never done, I've looked on the links and will have a go tomorrow :-)
