We use cotton sheets as bedding for our piggies mainly because we don't want to run the risk of respiratory problems but also with Fudge having such gorgeous long hair he always ends up with shavings tangled in his stomach hair which he ends up having to have cut out. A couple of our sheets are white and the last lot of foster piggies we had managed to stain them brown in places. I've tried a 40 degree wash with normal detergent, a 40 degree wash with washing soda and white vinegar and a 60 degree wash with washing soda and white vinegar. Other than bleaching them what can I do to get rid of the stains?

I always do my piggie washing on a 95 degree wash, and the stains seem to come out. I always use a non-bio detergent for them, as I think I remember hearing that bio stuff isn't good for them?

Thanks. I'll have to check how high our washing machine goes to and whether we use non bio. I don't normally do the washing but my mom's on holiday and as we change the piggies bedding every other day I'm in charge
