I'm thinking of getting a small handheld vacuum tuning to help Hoover up the hay and poops left everywhere after floor time. Does anyone else have anything similar and can recommend one?

I have the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser one and I think it's really good. I bought it off Amazon about a year ago when I first got my pigs. It's not too expensive. It is very loud though but that's because it's very powerful.

We have a Dyson handheld Vacuum, we didn't buy it for the Guinea Pigs but that's what I generally use it for. Though obviously out of some peoples price range, It is very good quality so it's worth it if willing. Ours has worked for years and we use it all over the house for general use so that's good too.

PS: And though it's loud the pigs don't seem to mind me sticking it into their cage.

I just brought one of those old fashioned floor sweepers, as getting the hoover out every time was a nightmare. It has changed my Life!

I once tried using my hand-held vac ( a Black & decker Dustbuster 3.6v) in the cages. Its not very noisy but still frightened the pigs. When I use the Dyson, I move the pigs into another room, so its not on top of them.
