hi guys

since iv been keeping my pigs on megazorb instead of fleece iv noticed very dirty willies (that area at the back of the willie that you can turn inside out near the bum.) not sure of the correct terminology ahem haha. is it the bum? or the willie? that is the question hahaha

anyway, the gunk stinks its minging, is there an efficient way of keeping them clean or is it a case of giving them a wipe once a week?

i would wipe regularly, maybe daily if they are collecting debris.

My piggies had this problem on megazorb.

Its called the perianal sac, it may need cleaning out daily as said. And yep, it does usually smell.

My boys got gunky when i had them on sawdust, they are much less so now on fleece, but i also have to make sure i sweep up as much exess hay from the fleece and stray hairs when poo clearing as possible, to limit this further, (as they HATE having it cleaned. lol)
