Clear sticky discharge (girl) ?

Treacle I noticed today has got a very dirty bottom end (yellow stained and she is white around there) and when looking at her vagina she has a sticky discharge like honey, What could this be? I have bathed her and cleaned her up but otherwise she seems well in herself, is it likely to be a problem?

Try and take a photo if possible, what is the colour of the discharge? I ask because Bumble is a mare for doing the same and often I have noticed what seems to be a small amount of congealed wee around her lady parts

When a female comes in to season she loses a mucus plug, normally you wouldn't notice it as it would be lost in the bedding. They also lose a mucus plug some days after being mated as the male deposits his boar glue to stop insemination by other males.

Hopefully it is just from her season starting - keep an eye on her and if it continues, increases, she shows signs of discomfort or it smells bad then a vet trip is needed in case of a uterine/bladder infection.

Thanks Suzy! She is one of three females and one neutered male, I have noticed she is his favourite and he does hump her more than the other two so maybe it's that.....will keep a close eye on her though...
