The vet said I cannot give it to her unless she makes the noise again, she made it for about an hour, ending with it going away and coming back for the last minute. Haven't heard it since and no other guinea pig in the cage is making any strange noises.Even when she made the noise she was active and eating. I am not in the same room as her at the moment (I have a cold and am worried about giving it to her)
When she was at the vets the vet didn't hear anything wrong in the lungs and heart at all, and she had been eating as she had food in her mouth when they checked.

It is very annoying, isn't it? I have been there, too, on more than one occasion. Keep a good eye on her and see your vet again if things get worse. It is one of the problems when you are an observant mummy. I hope that it turns out to be just a bit of a blocked nose.
