Today i was sitting on the stairs with Starburst when suddenly she hopped up onto the next step! I took her to the bottom of the stairs to see what she would do, and she climbed the whole way up the stairs! Are any of your guinea pigs stair climbers? :)

Charlie can do this, somebody said on his facebook that he looks like a hairy chicken in this picture!

One of my previous guinea pigs was able to climb the stairs. I can't remember how we found out she could do it, but she seemed to love racing up them as fast as she could and then popcorning along the landing :)

I had a guinea pig years ago called Charlie and once he had enough of running around playing in the hall he would run up the stairs and sit by his cage and wheek, once he did jump on top of the cage

One of my first piggies, Minx, discovered stair climbing as a hobby 10 days before giving birth to a couple of surprise babies (the usual shop story and the reason why I have gone strictly rescue since). She took it up again as soon as she considered her babies weaned, but only when nobody was looking... You had to listen out for a hop hop hop and then go and collect her waiting to be carried down again at the top of the stairs after a suitable amount of time to allow for some exploring!

Sunshine who we lost last year was a stairs climber. Our current group have simply discovered the joys of following us into the kitchen. The other day they thought they had lost me, I was in the loo. When I cam back into the living room they all ran towards me wheeking at the top of their voices.

Love those photos.

We don't have stairs unfortunately but I have my suspicions that if we did, Mrs Fuzzy, Millie Moo and Tim would all be stair climbers and maybe the skinnies too. I quite often have to fish Millie out of the hall cupboard. I think my late Nigel would have been too as he could jump out of the bath.
