Hello,

Can anybody advise me on how often I should clip my boys' nails? What length should they be before they are clipped?
They often get a bit dirty and they do seem quite long.

Many thanks :)

I take my pigs to the vets to have theirs done every 3 months, sometimes more frequent, it depends how quickly they grow, if you'd like to post a picture of their nails we'll be able to tell you if its time to have them cut, you have to be careful when clipping them as its easy to cut into a nerve or blood vessel, hence why i daren't do mine myself.

I cut them every month, Becouse they get irritated if they are to long. If the nail is short you dont have to do it so often. Remember to not cut it to close to the blood vain.:)
