Since putting my boys onto fleece I've noticed that some spots where they have wee'd are white, like the wee has been cloudy. Is this a symptom of anything, is it something I should be worried about or not?

Grateful for any advice.

Cloudy urine is not to be worried about - it is the way the body gets rid of excess calcium. As long as the urine dries a powdery white, there are no problems.

Only in case the urine dries notceably gritty to the feel, you need to check up on bladder sludge or stones.

Thank you both, that is a relief. I would have hated there to be something wrong which I had missed because of the type of bedding they were on. Another bonus of using fleece :)

Great link Furries - very helpful. Thank you.

Oh I'm glad I've seen this thread I was just about to ask a question about white spots on the fleece :)

Question now answered, thanks!

I added a litter tray last night which they immediately sat in, but think they think it is an extra bed. Ah well. I'm sure they'll use it, they wee everywhere.
