Cloudy yellow urine

Hi all, we got guinea pigs last week. It's the first time we've had them. I noticed when I was giving them play time that there was some cloudy yellow what I assume is urine. Looking online some things made it sound normal and others that I would need to see a vet. Is anyone able to advise please?

Yellow or Milky urine is normal.
Milky urine is normal - the body’s way of excretinf excess calcium - to a certain extent. It will leave chalky like deposits on bedding. If it happens a lot it can mean there is a problem with the calcium intake in the diet. If it feels gritty rather than chalky then do see a vet as they can mean crystals which is the precursor to bladder stones.

Any pain or squeaking when peeing also warrants a vet visit.

Thanks so much, that's really helpful. Yes they were sitting on some cardboard so it looked quite cloudy but when I wiped it away it wasn't gritty at all. Appreciate the quick response
