I was told they eat clover. I can't find anywhere that sells clover or even seeds for clover. There's a big field by my work that is FULL of clover. Would it be okay if I picked some clover for them?
I would wash the clover before giving it to the piggies in case of pesticides or animal droppings. Otherwise it should be fine. I pick dandelions for my boys as they don't like clover, but clover is OK for them to eat.
Awesome! I picked some with the roots still attached. Maybe I can plant them in my garden and get them to grow. That would be nice. If not I guess I'll just have to venture out into the field at work occasionally.
Hi, could you purchase a few in pots from a nursery? Then you can re-plant? I'm just wondering about fertilizer, pesticide and even debris of
other animals. You're right, piggies love clover. They like basil, parsley, lavender and tiny rosebuds and strawberry plant leaves as well
