Is clover safe for guinea pigs to eat?

my piggies have managed to grab little bits of it in the run each time i put them out,they love it and havent shown any problems/sickness from it x

i have got some in my garden and when i move hutch try and avoid it dont know if can eat it

Clover is fine for them to eat although some of mine seem to avoid the patches of grass with it in.

The only thing I've heard about clover is that it can be a bit of a gassy thing to feed. I wouldn't know for absolute definite though.

Ok in small amounts is what I've read because of the gassy problem. Mine eat it without any concerns.

Someone told me they shouldn't eat pink clover,so i've never given them that.They love the leaves from white clover,and eat them with no problem.They don't eat the flowers,though.
