I was cleaning my cage and noticed this in there:

Here's a wider shot for scale:

It looks like one of my pigs may have lost a clump of hair. I can't find any spots on either of them that seem to have hair missing. I'm not really sure what could have happened, I guess it could have been a fight but my boys are incredibly docile, and rarely even rumblestrut or mount each other. Both of them were acting the same towards each other as always, too, so I'm wondering if it may be some sort of illness. I did have something like this happen before and asked about it here, and people concluded it was probably something from some other animal that got in the hay before it was packaged. But unlike that one, this hair clearly matches colors my pigs have, and looks a lot more like guinea pig hair. Is there any sort of illness or something I should look for? Both their weights are normal, and their behavior hasn't changed either, and I can't find a spot with missing hair or any other abnormalities.

Hi

It rather looks barbered (bitten off) than pulled out or fallen out since there are no hair roots or dead skin scales attached.

Here is more information on barbering, both self-barbering or comrade barbering. If there is no change in behaviour or coat appearance (no balding areas) I would not worry at this stage.
