Clumps of fur?

Over the last week or so I’ve found
4-5 2p-sizes clumps of Ted’s fur. Is he moulting or has Fudge been biting him? I’m confused .

Could you please post a picture? Has the fur any skin flakes attached or can you see any bare patches on Ted's coat?

Sorry it’s pitch dark and the pigs are outside so I can’t take a photo right now - will in the morning though.
No skin, looks just like the hair that comes off when I trim his coat.

Also no bare patches that I can see. That’s why I’m so confused...

In this case, I would not worry too much. It can be just matting or moulting.
