Clumsy Pig!

The new piggy I got today is very clumsy... he may only be a bit older than weaning age so does that mean he is still 'top heavy' he seems like a very rolly-polly type of pig... he keeps backing up off the table and tries to walk of the edge thinking he is superman :o its scary coz he is so fragile... I dont want him to get hurt!
Also I noticed somthing weird... If one of his legs is just dangling from where I'm holding him he doesnt mind ? and he lets me touch them too where-as my other 2 wont let me near their feet ;D

Am I worrying for nothing? Why is he so clumsy and always backing up?

I think your worrying a bit to much, he has alot to learn. I wouldn't worry unless he couldn't help walking to one side or something like that. :)
 
:) thanks! lol do you think he will stop walking off the table? I really hope so!
Wilson ran off my bed when he was a baby... it taught him but this lil fellow wont learn ;D
 
;D In time he will understand there is an edge but for now I wouldnt' be putting him on tables. ;D
 
Reference the dangly leg and feet touching thing, Merlin does this but Billie didnt
Merlin doesnt mind feet strokes but Bil hated them

Just personal preference
 
I've noticed jasper is a bit like this. He hasn't been out much cos his skin is still painful but he does tend to run into things quite a bit. It's got to the point where I'm wondering if his sight is actually impaired. He was on my chest the other night after being checked over and he piggy kissed my nose and my lip! :o My other 2 boys won't come anywhere near my face.
 
Lennie always comes up to my face and piggy kisses me :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
Timmy who is 10 wheeks old will jump off anything so it's ground level for him!

He just started kissing my fingers then... ive only handles him for a few hours... mst have a close bond already ? hereached up like Wilson does and kissed and sniffed my face :smitten:
 
It's alright BW he's just getting used to you and his surroundings, quite normal, you think back to what Wilson and Cindy were like. He might be just a bit more adventurous :smitten: :smitten:
 
;D aww thank Glynis... I dont know why I'm worrying... I just dont want him to hurt himself :) But he isnt backing off things anymore and is actually reaching up to cuddle me like wilson does :smitten:
 
Awww BW ;) give him a chance he's going to love you heaps and i know you'll love him even more.... just relax love.... don't stress you are doing the right thing and in know if you aren't sure you'll ask O0 :-* :-* :-* :-*

He's just a baby after all :-*

He is so cute... just has hir FIRST piece of parsley :)
 
Glad he is settling in well and not going over the sides of things anymore. :)
