All day today when cokes has been trying to wheek it's just coming out like a rush of air. Poor wee lady. I did a search on it and apparently it's nothing serious, and it happens to alot of pigs? But it sounds so sorrowful I just want to cuddle her, sounds like she needs a wee strepsil. lol

Sometimes this happens to Sophie. When it first happened I got it checked out but the vet could not find anything wrong with her.

This happens to Frank sometimes, especially when he's been going off for a while. I think it can just happen? :)

My Kasper has never had a loud wheek and sometimes it sounds like nothing but he does try. I think it's normal!

That's reassuring.
I'm taking Luna back on tuesday after uni, so i'll cart her along with us just to get it checked since i'm going anyway.
LOL, yeah it probably is, i've been sitting on my bed beside them writing this essay for days so they've been taking my constant presence as an opportunity to scream into my face for extra everything.

Always safer to get it checked, even though it could likely well be nothing. Hope it is nothing anyway x

One of my boys lost his voice a few weeks back, i dont know what caused it but hes back to his noisy self now! :D

Hehe my late Bea was a bit like this. She had a blooming loud voice on her but if you went up to the cage and she knew you were watching she would sound hoarse like she had lost her voice (almost like she got over excited)

Awwww bless Bea

lol, awwww, that's so cute! :luv: i'm so sorry you lost her. x

My Taffy lost her big wheek halfway through her life, but it never stopped her from wheeking for her food even if only came out as a hoarse whisper!
