I wasn't quite sure which section to put this thread as their isn't a section for "crazy guinea pig behaviour". Anyway Coco in the last week or so (quite regularly all of the sudden) has taken to sitting all comfy in the "poo area" head in paws just chillin. She looks adorable but ewww. I clean it up but its a losing battle. It's only when I come into the kitchen and talk to them (she doesn't do it with anyone else) she runs out of her hidey and sits in the poo corner head on paws and just watches me not making a sound and runs back when I leave (Ive been spying on her) Its quite weird because she's the anti social one of the two. She can't be hungry cos she has constant hay and veg and pellets twice a day. Is she being friendly all of a sudden do you think or do they do this for some reason (sit in their poo).

Sounds normal to me.
The most sought after place in Violet and Poppy's cage is the Corner we call Poo Corner. It's the Corner next to the hay tray with a plastic stool to hide under. I could clean it out 4 times a day and still find a piggy laying contentedly on a mountain of poo next time I look.

Willow has times where she's quite comfortable to wee in the cosy cup and lay in it. I don't know if it's a warmth thing, because they're indoors and never get cold, but it's infuriating as her lovely luscious hair gets all stinky and ratty (not to mention the panic when I see she's damp so I'm half expecting blood/pus/gross body fluid to be seeping from some orifice or wound!), plus I then have to wash the cuddle cup cos Marble gives Willow the stink eye as if to say "You may like sitting in your wee, but I'm not going to!". Bottom line, it's a similar kind of illogical piggy thing - I want to ask Willow how on earth this feels nice? :))

At least you have a poo area haha my boar just poos anywhere- though when I first got him he did go in just one corner. I chase after him trying to scoop them up but he loves nothing more then just sprawling on top of them and munching the occasional one as he does- not my idea of q nice snack but he's happy so...:)
