Her fur is super shiny & she’s maintained a good weight for a while now. But she’s got a dirty slightly matted patch near to her private front bottom area. It doesn’t smell. There’s no lump & it doesn’t seem to bother her. She squeeked slightly when we cleaned it gently with warm water. Here are a couple pictures, can anyone help?
If her leg looks a funny angle, please don’t worry as Cocoa has wonky back legs anyway.

Hmm I'm not entirely sure. It could be that she's sat in a patch of wee with calcium in it and its just stuck to her coat. Can you see anything on the skin underneath at all Kath?

Sorry if I sound silly, she could have sat in wee as she’s not bothered where she sits/lies. But I’ve not experienced this before x

I’d just bathe her bum area, dry it and monitor if it happens again. If it does, then I’d get the Vet to check her over. Sometimes it can be the start of a urine infection or a bit of arthritis in back legs stopping them moving around as much. Some piggies, however just sit happily in their own wee :vom:

Hmm, that’s quite weird. I suggest that you get some animal friendly wipes or just use some gentle baby wipes to wipe it regularly, maybe she just gets messy easily......?

Mine both have that problem, they have got long hair so I try to keep it short round their bum. They just seem to soak up wee like a sponge. I use water wipes to clean them up, and the occasional bum bath.
