I am really worried about my little Sky today, I've only had her for about 5 weeks. She is usually straight to the food bowl in the morning, but today she just sad in her bed looking all puffed up.* She has definately lost weight, she is approx 3 months old but looks more like 6 weeks today (In size).Ive brought her inside and bathed her as she had urine on her belly, the only thing she will eat is grass so Ive been trying to give her as much of this as possible, to keep her guts working.I wasnt sure she was drinking, but Ive just watched her drink loads so this must be a good sign.On top of this I know 4 piggies which have passed away this wkend and I have no idea why.* They were all young healthy piggies, I am worried my SKy will be next.* Is there something going around or is this Coincidence?Sky

I would probably pop her to the vets tomorrow. It sounds like she might have a urinary tract infection (uti) as her belly was wet with urine and she is drinking loads. I would probably keep her inside especially as you say she has lost weight. See my post on 'Pigglewink's sick' regarding piggie who is not eating and unwell. It may be a coincidence. Let us know what happens xx

Sorry to hear she's feeling poorly. If she's eating and drinking then I think just keep her warm and comfortable and see how she is. Perhaps some pro-biotic would help?

Where do you guys buy your critical care from?
I need to order some for Sky, but can find hardly any website that sells it.
Is there anything else i could give her to get her appetite going? She hasn't toucher her dry food, hay or veg tonight.

You could vegetable baby food. Try and tempt her with her favourite foods and maybe hand feed her. Just a thought, when you take her to the vets, ask them to check her teeth. It could be possible that they need a trim and this is happening at the same time as her being wet - sometimes piggies do sit in their wee.
