Gemalar
Junior Guinea Pig
Afternoon all,
Just after a little advice if you don't mind. I have my 4 boys in a large (ish) shed in the garden, where we build custom sized cages and runs to fit the space. As its getting colder we have begun to insulate the shed as best we can, so far we have lino tiled the floors (with cardboard underneath to add extra comfort) and lino tiled half way up the wall, attached tarp along the exposed walls to stop breezes getting through any little gaps and attached car windshield covers (the foil coated ones) to the ceiling to reflect the heat and stop as much escaping. We are in the process of locating a roll of bubble wrap to put over the windows as well.
Both sets of boys have several places to snuggle up and have plenty of hay, so my question is.....what else can we do to ensure my boys stay snug.
Oh we have also draped fleece blankets over the top part of the cages to trap any warmth
sorry for the long story :red
