:o:o:o have had to bring 2 of my girls indoors last night, they were off their food and needing lots of tlc and encouragement to eat anythingwasigiving water through syringes and baby food throughtout the night, this morning it would appear that they have burrowing mite, as fur has fallen out in places, we've been to the vet's and now have medication the drop in temp has not affected the others but PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE check your piggies and if you are in any doubt get them indoors, it was a very long night i'd hate for anyone else to go through it.one good thing has come out of it all though, well three actually, one of my other ladies who was passed onto me because she was pregnant [thank you unknown pet shop] was safely delivered of three beautiful babies, had my piggies not been poorly i would have missed seeing my very first piggie birth in many years of keeping piggies!
