Combing/ Brushing Abyssinians

What do you guys use to brush or comb you piggles? Our boys are shedding as they get their winter coat. Would a small slicker brush be a good idea?

Mooli is an aby and I don't brush his hair. I do not think it needs brushing.

I use a small slicker brush and a metal comb on my Shelties. I can see the natural grease accumulating on the comb. I also use a bristle brush on my Aby's and smooth-haireds. You can buy grooming sets at P@H.

I use a soft brush when my abys and smooths hair a lot changing from summer to a winter coat, but otherwise, they don't need brushing. The have a slightly greased coat, which keeps them better protected from wind and weather.
