The instructions they came with probably mentioned doing it occasionally, but I doubt they ever bothered.

That'd pass as an exclusive venue in my home town.

EDIT - for perspective, the particular community I'm a part of, the advice I got was never to take someone to the hotel in town for a date, I'd already reached this conclusion myself, as they put shower curtains up the windows, but it is cheap, at least.
