With the masks, the 'the government can't make me wear one, it's opressive' argument tends to fall down if you suggest they strip off and walk through their local highstreet.

If that's the country I'm thinking of, it's probably just a disclaimer, they'll still be required to attend multi-person meetings, but should anything happen they'll be pointed to the sign.

It's an older post, but I did review his diary when this all started, his advice is just as current now, he worked through the plague. We tend to have this view of our past that as we're more technologically advanced, they were 'a bit simple', it's a dangerous view to take, the past is as they say, a different country, they were just as intelligent as us, and it's only due to the work of relatively few very brilliant people that society has been dragged forwards, but we should never discount the advice of our predecessors, from Homer to Winnie, what has happened in the past, will happen again.
