So, you remember how a week or two ago, Comet decided to dive head first into the plastic bag their hay arrives in, and had to be dragged out backwards, with much protest?

So I put him on the sofa this morning and went to add some extra hay from the bag. Apparently this flicked a switch in his little head and he went demented, running up and down and up and down til finally, he pulled off his party piece - climbing on to the arm of the sofa to reach the hay bag.

From now on I'll be doing all the hay stuff before I let him loose...

There's nothing quite like having to catch a guinea pig mid leap with one hand lol. Didn't his Mama explain to him that pigs can't fly?!

Genuinely though I'd love to know what goes through his head, he never does stuff like this in the cage. It's only when he's on the sofa.
 
Maybe he's excited to be out of his cage and wants to explore. He's certainly a cheeky little character lol.

If only his definition of exploring didn't include "giving Lorcán a heart attack", lol

The two of them managed to share a carrot earlier. Now that was definitely cute.

Five minutes later Comet decided it was zoomies time and proceeded to rearrange everything to make this manageable. That included moving the carrot cottages, while Blitzen was trying to sleep in one.

Boys, eh?
