Junior Guinea Pig
So... since putting up my new hutch, painting it and setting it up. My guinea pigs have seemed much happier. My sole Guinea pig Atlas (Monty belongs to my partner, I just take primary care of them as they have to live together.) has changed a little, when I open the hutch on the side that isn’t open (wire mesh the rest of the hutch for ventilation etc)
And go to pick him up he doesn’t try to escape or run away. And since being in there he has comfortably lay and slept in his hide in there for extra security and when I pick him up, he’s not struggled a lot either. He’s also chatting to me a bit instead of whining.
Should I be worried or is he just becoming more comfortable around me?
