W hav hug comfry plants in our garn an noticing on a prvious thra that comfry is a [colorr]saf foo just wonr if its th lavs ,stalks or flowrs which ar th bst to giv? Do thy n any spcial prparation or not?

Hi Suzie,

Found this... Some wild plants, such as borage, coltsfoot and comfrey should only be fed sparingly or when required as a first aid measure as they contain alkaloids which are damaging in excess.

Just noticed your avatar. Twinkle :smitten: looks like a bigger version of our 8 week old sow Sweep. Just started a topic about strange popcorning habits - she's the one who popcorns on your knee after a belly tickling session! :D

Feed all herbage sparingly and in a balanced mixture :) They really should be taken as seriously as veggies when feeding :)
