I wonder what is inside them, with them being so cheap makes me think they could be filled with something similar to the weatey bags and if so they would not be any good once a piggy had weed on it.

I think i will go and look down P@H
 
yeah thats what i thought, best to look at them first before jumping in!
 
You could put them out of thier reach they would still feel the warmth.:)
 
I saw those in the St.helens store last saturday. They seem to be filled with some kind of grains. (i have something similar shaped as a teddy & it doesn't hold the heat for very long.)I didn't buy one though .I bought the Snugglesafe heat pad as its supposed to keep warm for upto 12 hrs & I must say that mine did. i put it in the hutch at around 7pm & it was still just about warm at 8am the following morning.My piggies shouted at me when I took it out of the hutch!
 
Hhhhhmmm.

£4.99 might make it tempting - but IMO Snugglesafe are better. Although these ones are bigger and soft - the heat won't last very long if they have those little grains inside.

I don't think they are machine washable....just imagine the state they will get in.

I use a snugglesafe for my African Hedgehog and with vet bed underneath and a blanket on top it can stay warm for 16 hours.
 
i agree Andrea, i would stick to snugglesafes - mine were still warm this morning from last night when i put them in - and i cannot imagine them lasting for that long.

yes i have found they do - mine have covers anyway, but i place one in their bed under a fleece pad, and the other sits in their hay under their snuggle tunnel.

I think it all depends on the temperature outside too.
 
I've only used my snugglesafe once so far cos the temp was going down to 1. I was tempted to get 1 for my bed as they really get hot!
