My Guinea Pig had a nice round bump for about 2 months now. The vet wanted me to keep an eye on it and if her behavior changed to bring her in. Well I just went to feed her and notice the bump has burst. Vet is closed and not sure what to do. Please help.

Where are you? In some countries, you can call the vets and they can tell you whether to come in or not. In the meantime, you could put some saltwater on it if the piggies don't mind it being touched. The best solution is to wait and see what the vet says. Here are some links to people that had similar problems.
Abscess burst behind ear
Liquid filled lump
Hope she gets better :luv: 🙏

Thanks so much. I'm in the US. I've given her a bath and I've saline the area and completely cleaned out her cage. Its 2 if them so I separated them for the night until I hear from the vet. I took a closer picture and freaked out. Wanted to take her to the hospital. But after being salined and bathed she seems fine. Eating habits haven't changed nor her personality. Praying everything gets better. Thanks again!

Please email a (clearer) photo to the vet and book an appointment soon as. Follow the email up with a phone call.

Thank you so much for following up. I was going to come over and update later. She is doing well. It's a ruptured abscess and they gave her a shot to prevent any infections. I have to keep giving her a saline bath and her follow up is next Friday. She's still in good spirits. She just miss playing with her sister. ❤
