We've just been having a cuddle and as I was stroking her back my nail caught on what felt like a scab, after looking through her hair I managed to find a little round scab and like bruised skin? She hasn't been scratching or looking to be uncomfortable since I brought her home on Wednesday but this has frightened me a little! Any ideas what it sounds like? I'll try and get a good pic!

No not yet, I've reserved a little girl who will be coming to live with us soon. I brought her home to on Wednesday, could it possibly be from fighting?
 
yeah, it looks to me like a bite/scratch mark. keep an eye on her and if you see any hair loss or scratching (she will loose a bit with the scab anyway) then pop her along to your vets to check for mites or fungal :)
