I have 3, 7 week old piglets (7 weeks is a guesstimate, from the pet store where they were adopted). Rose is 10 oz, Smores is 9.4 oz and Penelope is 13.1 oz. I dont know how to convert these to metric so if someone can help with that it would be great. Anyways, when I bought my pig 2 weeks ago she was 7.8 oz and now she is 13.1 oz. In 2 weeks! She has started getting a pear shape and I noticed today her nipples were protruding a little. I wonder if she could have gotten pregnant at the pet store on accident. I mean after our loss of Skittles I would love some babies but I just have never cared for a preggo piggy. Anything I should watch out for? I have noticed that she wont play anymore, she just eats, sleeps and has been drinking TONS of water. I mean she could just be fat and lazy and depressed at the loss of her cage mate, her sister Skittles. Any insight would be great...I am confused and my mind is going a million miles a minute. ?/

Hi love i'd be taking Penelope to see your vet.... do you have a cavvy savvy one?
OH i do hope she's not.......she's so young! Whee have some excellent people on here that have dealt with pregnancy..... if you pop a thread into the pregnancy section you'll get some great advice.
I would also be speaking to the place where you got the girls from....... they should at least be responsible and help with vet costs? i'd ask anyways.

GOOD LUCK XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
