Last night like clockwork I topped up the pigs hay, I didn't have any any orchard grass near by, so I thought I'll just give them timothy. I woke up this morning, the hay looked pretty much untouched. I didn't think much of it as yesterday they did have an eventful day!

When I got home tonight, still they hay looked untouch :o, by this time, I was getting a bit worried as you know yourself how quick the teeth grow, so I decided to get some orchard grass from the attic.

Which I did and do you know what they haven't came up for air! :)).

I told my mum about it, Mum's words just shows how spoiled they are :)), most animals just eat what they are given rolleyes.

Clearly I just have high maintenance pigs.. Oxbow Timothy hay is not a favourite here :)).
 
Fussy little so and sos! You've passed on the hay addiction, except they're only addicted to orchard grass!
 
yep mine are all fussy over different veg it is a nightmare! the hay thing i think you only have yourself to blame lol :)
 
Haha, fussy pigs.
Mine are also quite fussy, they won't eat carrots (I guess that's good, they don't want to get fat) and apples and things...

At least mine still love their hay :<>

Good luck with being able to keep up to your pigs standards...
 
Oh my.... Guess what orchard grass is gone and they still haven't touched the Oxbow timothy, I fear I will not be buying it getting. I still have about 2kg left rolleyes..

On the brightside we got more hay.

Oxbow organic MEadow hay.... not very impressed its not green like the timothy and orchard grass and Alpha wheat, barley and oat hay. :)).

Shall report findings soon.
 
thank goodness its not just me with the fussy piggies! :)
mine get funny over their hay too! and one of them is also a picky veggie eater, the pair of them turned their nose's up at the Excel Blackcurrent & Orreg posh pellets in favour for their good old P@H all in one. There no accounting for taste sometimes! rolleyes
