After getting some advice on here I am looking to get a New Guinea pig as a friend for my male (boar?)
Not sure how to phrase this without sounding crazy... But here it goes.
My guinea pig is very very large. A very big male guinea pig if that makes sense.
He and his friend (who passed) humped (not sure on the correct term) a lot. His friend would wiggle his bottom, like swing his hips and make a sound and then my guinea pig would mount. They played together, groomed and slept together. The humping occurred all the time and would stop if they thought you were watching.
It didn't look aggressive, both seemed to like it,
If I got a new young make piggie, and they got along well, could my guinea pig hurt him? By accident during humping? Thanks

No, your boy wouldn't hurt a newbie, but if you cannot arrange bonding at a rescue that offers to bond adult boars (full/residential) boar dating, then you'd best have a small tunnel or hay filled cardboard box with two small exits ready if your boy's attentions become too much for him. A guinea pig sized humping toy (like ratty from Ikea) can also help draw the fire - try to rub it over your boys, so it smells right!

Some boar bonds are very humpy, but with them, it is usually more of a social than a dominance activity, especially if it is mutual.

You may find this thread here helfpul as it contains videos, tips and descriptions, so you have a much better idea what to expect: http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/threads/boar-dating-service-wales.59233/

Ok thanks I'll read the thread. I didn't know anything about guinea pig behavior. I took them both to the vet as I was concerned the smaller pig may have actually been female as he had no external male signs. He was male but with no visible testes. My understanding (let me add I knew nothing about guinea pig behaviour and I've got a lot to learn) was that my guinea pigs were homosexual.
The guinea pig I have still is the one that humped his friend. He's huge. He has enormous testes. I had assumed that they were having consential relations, without being too graphic here. I'm trying to ask if his humping may hurt another piggie, I always assumed it was a full on penetrative style thing. God this is so silly to write.

Humping is very normal mild, every day dominance behaviour; it is not primarily sexual like you assume - that comes only into it when a sow is in full season! You will see it in sows when they come into season, so it is not just limited to boars. You may also find our information threads at the top of this section illuminating.

The humping usually comes as quite a shock to the unsuspecting... You are by far not the first and won't be the last member on here with that particular issue! ;)
