So I was looking back through old photos and apparently Comet started coming to the bars for food before he'd even lived with me for three weeks. Clearly I was a well trained human being

They train us the moment they clamp their beady little eyes on us, think back to when you 1st saw them! They draw you in , then BANG ! They got you. You think you CHOSE them, forget it.

I agree @teddymouse my partner was not an animal person at all, with us it was a love me love my guinea pigs relationship. Now he's been so sucked in he spoils them more than I do. He says it's the eyes, the way they stare at you delivers some kind of piggy magic.

I have to agree with him. They have a way of making you feel guilty without actually doing anything

Don’t know if that’s what makes me love them even more though, they look at you and your heart just makes you want to give them some loving!
Even if it’s through the weird brainwashing haze when you’re crawling to the fridge for blueberries!?
