Confirmation my guinea pig is a female please? Picture included.

Hi everyone, not sure if this is in the right place. Apologies if it isn't.

Following on from my unexpected newborn guinea pig thread, a poster told me to make 100% sure the non-mother guinea pig was definitely a female. I've managed to get a clear picture of its genital area so hopefully someone can cofirm its sex for me.

It looks like a girl to me. If you wana be extra sure if you press lightly just above the 'area' you would be able to feel a willy if it's a boy :p

I'll try and get a picture up soon of baby's bits, she/he is sleeping just now. Fingers crossed it's a girl too and they can all stay together.

Glad you've got two girls there as you could have ended up with another little. Fingers crossed for baby.

Looks like it could be a girl but if she's only a couple days old... Pop another photo on in a week and it will be double checked... :)

I'd think that there is a good likelihood that it is a girl; but it may take a week or two until you can be fully sure. That will still give you time to sort things.

"Auntie" is definitely an auntie and not an uncle! So that is one set of problems less!

It's great that your other pig is also a girl, though do be aware that there is also the chance that she too is expecting. :...

Thank you for checking the sex of your other piggy. I agree, she's a girl. Fingers crossed she's not pregnant too. xx
